As our teams grow, we seek our next Raw Material and Supplier Technologist to join our team.

Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Ensure Raw Material specifications are up to date and liaise with Specifications Technologist to ensure RM & Finished product specifications are aligned.
- Approving of raw material and packaging specifications ensuring supplier documentation meets due diligence standards
- Complete traces for audits and to the site schedule.
- Managing and maintaining all raw material data and KPI’s, identifying any trends.
- Investigate customer complaints or any non-conformance raised internal or externally to provide data which informs resolution with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with updated customer technical policies, current labelling standards and include all regulatory changes that will impact back of pack information
- Follow relevant process development procedures, ensuring these are documented correctly and are compliant with internal and customer standards
- Support Raw Material and Supplier Assurance Manager with audits of suppliers.
- Liaise and support procurement team with sourcing of new suppliers ensuring they achieve the correct standard prior to approval.
- Support in the development of VACCP and supplier risk assessment documentation and procedures.

- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Organised and good time management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Influencing and expectation management skills
- BSc or above professional qualification in Food Safety or similar field (Desirble)
- 3+ years food manufacturing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Level 3 HACCP (Desirable)
- VACCP (Desirable)
- Internal Audit Training
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
