As our teams grow, we seek our next People Partner to join our People Team.

Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:


People & Culture Strategy

  • Partner with managers to provide strategic HR support, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention.
  • Champion our Care Values and drive a positive workplace culture.


Employee Relations (ER)

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, including performance management, grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management.
  • Support managers in handling ER cases effectively, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
  • Lead investigations and provide recommendations for fair and consistent resolutions.


Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Support recruitment processes, working closely with hiring managers to attract and hire top talent.
  • Develop proactive recruitment strategies, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring approach.
  • Support workforce planning to align with business growth and operational needs.
  • Support with the management of ATS and Careers Page systems


Performance & Talent Development

  • Coach and support managers in driving performance through effective goal setting and feedback.
  • Identify talent and succession planning opportunities to build a strong internal pipeline.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee HR systems and data management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-led decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and best HR practices.


Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

  • Drive DEI initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued.
  • Support managers in creating equitable opportunities for career progression.



Our team tells us you will be a great addition if you have experience in:


  • Proven generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practices.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Ability to coach and influence managers to drive people-focused outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
  • Experience with HR systems and data analysis.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above).
