As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Talent Advisor based at our site in Milton Keynes.
As we embark on a journey of growth you will be a crucial part of this transformational journey crafting our new and innovative ways of working to improve the candidate experience and employment branding. As our Talent Advisor, you will support with owning our ambitious talent tactics, with effective strategies that attract a pipeline of top talent.
Every day is different at TBF, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Partnering with our Assistant & Unit Managers to understand their hiring needs and drive solutions
- Working to promote roles that are urgent
- Screening candidate applications and CVs for our craft roles
- Facilitate hiring events and supporting our Managers to deliver a memorable hiring experience.
- Conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews
- Basic administration tasks such as checking right-to-work documentation
- Keeping the People team and Hiring Managers regularly updated on the progress of vacancies
- Regularly reviewing our application process and content to ensure it aligns with our tone, is up to date and also is slick
- Supporting the Talent team to promote job fairs and career events
- Giving back – partnering with 3rd parties such as job centres and embodying the care for community
- Identifying new candidate profiles and identifying tactics to target them
- Completing the weekly talent update, measuring and reporting on the Talent team’s success and highlight opportunities
- Provide accurate data and insights on the recruitment market such as benchmarking and new recruitment trends
- Being curious by identifying and evaluating opportunities for insight and data that will inform hiring decisions
- Developing social media content to promote the TBF's job opportunities
- Inspire candidates by sharing examples of our values to ensure that the right candidates are being attracted
- Ensuring that reviews (Indeed & Glassdoor) reflect our growing brand
To be successful in this role you must
- Previous experience in a high volume and in house recruitment
- Experience with Food Manufacturing recruitment is desirable
- Experience managing an Applicant Tracking System
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Be passionate about attention to detail
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be organised with good prioritisation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and with ambiguous settings
- Relentless drive and passion to find the best talent
