As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Hygiene Manager within our Operations Department.
Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Maintain and develop The Bread Factory’s deep cleaning programmes to ensure all areas of the factory and equipment are cleaned to the standards required.
- Maintain and review the site Hygiene KPIs and communicate to the team and wider stakeholders
- Develop, review and update Standard Operating Procedures and Cleaning Instruction Cards to ensure continuous improvement through the hygiene system.
- Ensure safe and cost-effective management of all cleaning chemicals used on site in line with COSHH legislation.
- Advise on Hygiene and cost-saving improvements in cleaning methods
- Contributes to the business with specialist knowledge within designated areas of hygiene.
- Managing and participating in hygiene-related improvement projects.
- React to crisis and incident management within designated areas by completing root cause analysis and driving change through solutions.
- Effectively communicating with stakeholders in relation to , investigating issues and complaints, compliance, queries, audits and continuous improvement plans.
- Produce appropriate training materials and support Learning and Development in the rollout of hygiene training programmes.
- Work with Bakery Production Managers to ensure hygiene standards are maintained and developed to remain aligned with the expectations of third-party audit requirements and customer requirements.
- Working in conjunction with the site technical team to ensure all hygiene-related non-conformances are closed out in line with the business requirements.
- Work with the site management team to ensure GMP and Hygiene Standards are being adhered to and continually improved upon.
- Management and Completion of the Hygiene Audits conducted on site including microbiological swabbing and actions from any failures.
- All audits and customer audits to be AA grade or GREEN status.
- Hygiene Audit Scores.
- Maintain and review Audit outcomes, complaints and testing requirements.
- Complaint Root Cause Analysis of Hygiene-related incidents.
- All Hygiene staff to be trained to the appropriate level and maintenance of the training schedule.
Our team tells us you will be a great addition if you have/are:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizational skills and effective time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influencing and expectation management abilities
- Over 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in a technical role
- Level 3 HACCP certification
- Previous experience in a Production Hygiene environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
