About us:The Bread Factory is London’s leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL’s Bakeries nationwide. As our teams grow, we seek our next Artisan Baker to join our team.Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:<ul><li>Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including sourdough, baguettes, and speciality loaves.</li><li>Mix, scale, and shape doughs according to standardised recipes and production requirements.</li><li>Ensure all products meet high-quality standards and are prepared in line with daily orders.</li><li>Follow precise baking techniques to maintain consistency and excellence in every batch.</li><li>Execute daily production tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and output targets.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient bakery operations.</li><li>Adapt to high-volume production while maintaining artisan baking methods.</li><li>Support shift leaders in executing production plans and meeting bakery targets.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled.</li><li>Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with UK legislation and company policies.</li><li>Follow best practices for food handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure product integrity.</li></ul> Our people tell us you will be a great addition to the team if you have…<ul><li>Proven experience as an artisan baker or in a similar role.</li><li>Strong knowledge of baking techniques, including sourdough fermentation.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high-quality ingredients.</li><li>Ability to work afternoons, weekends, and holidays as required.</li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul> Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days, Monday to Sunday, on a rotating schedule.Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PMSalary: £14.10 – £15.10 per hour (dependent on experience)Location: Hendon, London, NW9 Our Values:We care about Job Well Done:Since 1993, we have been champions in traditional baking with the finest ingredients and techniques.
