The Bread Factory is a long-established business specialising in the production and distribution of high-quality breads and pastries across the North. We have an award winning artisan bakery that looks and operates differently and our goal is to make world class bread that everyone can enjoy. The company’s focus is on freshly baked artisan products, along with excellent customer service. Our Manchester business has been baking since 2017.


As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for a salesperson who fits into our growing company, bringing personality and skill. We are searching for someone who can help increase sales, expand the customer base locally and nationally, as well as contributing to rapid growth. The ideal person will have excellent interpersonal, customer-service skills and be a cheerleader for the brand, both internally and externally. Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

  • Represent The Bread Factory in a manner aligning with the company and which results in high customer retention and a positive customer experience.
  • Identify lead opportunities as well as the potential for upsells.
  • Meet or surpass sales target expectations.
  • Speak with customers to understand their needs and resolve any issues.
  • Develop and apply in-depth knowledge of our breads, the way we make them by hand and our full range of services, to answer customer questions and offer the best solutions.
  • Stay in contact with customers regularly to understand the current market as well as individual needs and apply it to upselling and new product development.
  • Participate in training and seek opportunities for improving operations.
  • Understand competitors and the moving foodservice market.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts.
  • One or more years of sales experience, ideally within our industry.
  • Sharp negotiation and time-management skills.
  • Good F&B knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of cities in the North West and East.
